Explanation of Surah Al Fil :
تَرَ : The Ta’a is Light Letter (Muraqaq letter) – Don’t pronounce it Like (ط) .
بِأَصْحَـٰبِ : Small Alif after (ح) – ( 2 ) Haraks OR Two Vowels Counts exactly like Big or Normal Alif if Preceded by Fatiha .
ٱلْفِيلِ : Hamzat Al Wasl is dropped when Reading –
- Second Rule in Ya’a Mad – Al-Madd Al-‘Aarid Lil Sukoon (Presented Sukoon ) : The reciter must stop after the word being recited in order to sound this madd 2, 4 or 6 counts .
يَجْعَلْ : Qalqalah in (ج) , There are five Qalqalah Letters ( ق – ط- ب- -ج – د ).
كَيْدَهُمْ فِى : Don’t margin (Idgham) between (م) and (ف) it is not allowed – The rule is Ith’har Shafawe (Clear Meem ).
I ask you to be careful because Makhraj Meem and Fa’a near each other (lips) sometimes imagen we should Idgham ut its wrong .
تَضْلِيلٍۢ : Try to separate between (ت) and (ض) because Ta’a Muraqaq ( light ) letter but Daad Mufakham ( Heavy ) letter.
طَيْرًا : –Mufakham (ط) ( Heavy ) letter.
طَيْرًا أَبَابِيلَ : Ithaar Halqe because Tanween is followed by Kha’a (أ) – It means to pronoun Tanween Clearly in Tajweed six Ithaar Halqe Letters ( ء – ه -ع – ح -غ – خ ).
تَرْمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٍۢ : Meem is Followed by Ba’a -The rule will be Ikhfa’a Shafawe , Two Vowles With Ghunnah and pronounce Meem and Baa together as one syllable
بِحِجَارَةٍۢ مِّن :
- Tanween (Two Kasrs ) is followed by ( م ) Idgham with Ghunnah – Insert Tanween into Meem with Gunnah.
- Idgham with Ghunnah occurs in Four letters ( و – ى – ن – م) if Noon Sakinah or Tanween is folloed by any one of them The rule be Idgham with Ghunnah.
مِّن سِجِّيلٍۢ : It is IKhfaa Haqeqe For Noon Sakinah ( ن ) or Tanween , There are 15 letters for Ikhfaa and س one of these letters, In Ikhfaa Noon Sakinah or Tanween not pronounced MAkhraj , only Gunnah is promounced.
كَعَصْفٍۢ مَّأْكُولٍۭ : Tanween (Two Kasrs ) is followed by ( م ) Idgham with Ghunnah – Insert Tanween into Meem with Ghunnah.
Ghunnah : 2 Haraks .
Surah Al Fil translation ( Tafseer ) :
(أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَابِ الْفِيلِ (١
Have you not considered how your Lord dealt with the People of the Elephant?
Did He not make their plan go wrong? (2) أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِي تَضْلِيلٍ
He sent against them swarms of birds. (3) وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا أَبَابِيلَ
Throwing at them rocks of baked clay. (4) تَرْمِيهِمْ بِحِجَارَةٍ مِنْ سِجِّيلٍ
Leaving them like chewed-up leaves. (5) فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍ مَأْكُولٍ
