–Tafkheem and Tarqeeq Part-2 التــفــخــيـــم والتــرقــيــق الجزء الثانى
Letters that have tafkheem sometimes and tarqeeq other times :
- The lengthened alif . ( ا )
- Laam (ل )in the Glorious name of Allah . اللهم – الله
- Raa (راء)
1-The alif (الألف)
The alif takes the ruling of the letter that it is attached to in terms of lightness (tarqeeq ) and heaviness (tafkheem).
If a tafkheem letter precedes it then it also has tafkheem.
If a tarqeeq letter precedes it then it also has tarqeeq .

2-Laam (ل )in the Glorious name of Allah . اللهم – الله
The Lam of the Glorious name of Allah sometimes has tafkheem and sometimes tarqeeq, depending on the pronounced vowel on the letter preceding the Lam.
The laam ( Allah ) has tafkheem in the following cases:
- If what precedes the name of Allah has a fat-ha.
- If what precedes the name of Allah has a dhammah.
Examples:
هُوَ اللَّهُ –وَإِذْ قَالُوا اللَّهُمَّ – إِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ اللَّهُ
The laam ( Allah ) has Tarqeeq in the following cases:
If it was preceded by an original kasrah or presented kasrah even if it is connected to it
Examples:
بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ – أَفِي اللَّهِ شَكٌّ – قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ
